An Bord Pleanála
This site is located on the corner of Marlborough Street and Findlater Place. The lands were previously occupied by hotel and a bar which have since been demolished. This site forms an important corner in the space contained by Cathal Bruagh Street and Findlater Place with the church in the centre. The building is 7 storeys high over a basement carpark and ground floor retail units. An Bord Pleanála have a public reception hall and an oral hearing room entered from Marlborough Street. There is a large atrium with canteen facilities which was fitted out by Duff Tisdall. Natural limestone, an aged brick and copper roofs are the principal external materials which give this building a certain solemnity.
