Hansfield SDZ

The overall character will be established by the creation of a new street layout and networks, well designed architectural statements at key entrances, corner elements, key buildings, the provision of open spaces, pedestrian and cycle-way routes. Traffic calming and pedestrian priority will be integrated design features with readily identifiable routes and access points. In this way, the SDZ will have an individual sense of identity yet will link into the network of streets in Ongar and Clonsilla and integrate with the wider context. The layout was designed in conjunction with O’Mahony Pike Architects and Fenton Simons Architects.
