Ongar East

This residential district is located east of Ongar Village. A large park lies between it and the village. The site layout strategy was to present a strong built edge to this park and to the Ongar Road which runs along the southern site boundary. Typically taller residential terraces and some free standing apartment blocks provide a formality to the edges of major routes. Minor streets and spaces are defined by mews buildings and courtyards.
